Its a "hot one " in Kingston. Tomorrow is our National Day. And a holiday.

27 C and feels like 35C.
Did a yoga class this morning. Class is provided by Lululmeon. The class was held at Battery Park and there was an excellent turnout.
And this afternoon Cycled. 32KM.
Its a very long weekend here . Canada Day, July 1. Tuesday,
I have lots of things on my To Do List. My apt is in need of a good tidying .
Supper - Egg Sandwiches , and a side salad . Desert to be determined.

27C feels like 32C. Intense sun . No Breeze.Lots of heat. It was hot running. Ran 5.15K . the last Kilometers i slowed down- heat and hydration. And I walked .5K home to get home.. Earlier in the afternoon, I biked 12K approx. .

June 27 Friday - Used Bike Rack on a Public Bus.
Nice day . The start of a \'very long Weekend . Canada Day - July 1 .
I went - rode my bike to the Cataraqui Town Center do have a look in the stores. After shopping, I noticed I had a flat tire in my rear wheel. Problem - How to get my bike home?. . The Kingston City buses a have bike racks. I decided to take my bike downtown to have the bike shop fix my flat.
I had never used a bus bike rack
This was my first attempt.
The bus driver was nice and friendly and helpful . She gave me verbal instructions to load the bike on the bus. I was surprised at how easy it is to load a bike onto the front bus rack . I got down town and I had the flat fixed at Frontenac Cycle.
A good experience, and i learned a new skill that i will use again.

I did not have a good day on Thursday. Its early Friday morning here , this is yesterdays post.
I went to see a doctor. And he has to be ranked as the biggest jerk I have ever met. He really upset me. needless to say I am not going back.

One of those days. not great in terms of goals, but i did get some stuff done.
Took my cat , Tuffie to the veterinarian for her annual check up and shots.
The FIFA World Cup is taking up a lot of programming time on Canadian TV.
I am English by birth. I am hoping they (the UK) wins tomorrow against Uruguay. .. .I am a little skeptical. the press is interested in one player - Rooney . My (unprofessional ) feelings think he should be benched. He is lacking as a " team player". There must be better team players in the UK .

Listening to Evengy Kissin - Beethoven, Frank, and Brahms. I am a fan of his. And this is an excellent recording . Recommend it highly. Its classical piano.
Steak and veg for supper. beer- Mill Street Organic - if you have not tried it. you should. its a light lager.(4.2 Alcohol).

at my neighborhood Library- Calvin Park Library.
The session was very good - There was hands on stuff. And i enjoyed it immensely .
