Bike ride to the Waterfront park, then a run along the waterfront path  to city hall and back to Water plant and then to my  locked  bike at the Time Monument. 
Run approx, 6k. total distance with biking 10K. (approx)/

I have following been  the Women's FIFA soccer tournament that  was held in Canada. 
Our team (Canada),  managed to  make the quarter-finals. Seems strange  no soccer on TV.Missing it. 

 Humid and 26C.   Ran in the late afternoon. 17:00. Happy with my effort.

Saturday July 4

 Watched the soccer (football) game  England  and Germany. 
It was a very hard fought game. England won and finish 3rd in the World Cup. 
Very happy. 
The final tomorrow. USA and Japan. 

In the early afternoon, I went for my run.

Pace: 6:26

I have been spending  time (lots of time) watching the soccer, Canada and England. 
Time to refocus.

Friday July 3

Worked hard today. 

Ran in the late afternoon. 24C. 
Distance 6.72K 

Looking forward to soccer game tomorrow. England plays Germany.  The game determines the third place finisher. 
 I  am very happy that they have made it into the final four. 

It would be nice for  England to win. But, more  important is that they play well. 
 The game begins at 17:00  my time. 

Plan to run early in the day.

JennyMoscropOver the past three weeks, I  took a break from running. A sort of rest time, I  lacked  the motivation to get my   runs done. .
 Today's run was my longest in some time. 
Happy  with the distance I ran today.

July 1 Canada Day

 I am celebrating Canada Day doing a few things.

I cycled  to Tim Hortons and had a coffee and Canadian Maple donut. 

I took a week off from my running. 
It's Canada's Day - I decided its time to get back to my running. 
Late afternoon, I went for a run. Albeit a slow tun 
Distance: 5:41km 
Time: 39:06
Pace: 7:13

 Made a good salmon salad for supper. 
and now getting ready for the start of the FIFA
The semi-final game between  England and Japan. 
My team is England, I was born there. I am cheering for them.

England played great. they deserved to win. \the Japs got lucky in the final minute.England was not lucky.
