Monday & the last day of August.

 My goal for 2015 - run 4 races (Events). Ran 2 events in the spring. The Harry Rosen 8km in Toronto  and the Montreal Scotia Bank 5km.   2 down and 2 to go. 
Made 2 decisions. Run the Toronto Zoo 10km on September 12 and the Army 5km on September 20 in Ottawa. Entries are in and travel and hotel  reservations are done. Happppy.

Late afternoon training run. 8.7km. Pleased with the run. 
Don't have a time as my Garmin is not running - working properly.

Time for a walk and then some tidying up in my apt.

Cycled to Lemoyne Point. Ran a route and Cycled home. 
 It is nice out there. Run path goes thru the conservation area and partly along the lakeshore. 
Perfect late summer afternoon.

 Late afternoon run. 
Distance: 6.87 km. Unfortunately no other stats..  I have tried hard to reset my Garmin. It seems it is cooked / finished. 

I have been reading other blogs. Krista DuChene Running is a great read. And she is one of Canada 's top runners.  Check it out.

Pleased with my run. 
No Run Time - I am havning issues with my Garmin .
Used "Map My Run"  to determine the distance.

Sunday August 23

Lately I seem to have experienced a number of  disappointments  or   downs. I did not go to Yoga this morning. Was hoping to run the Toronto Island run. I have not been able to  find an affordable hotel. The "Run" coincides with the Toronto Film Festival and rooms prices have more than doubled. Seems unlikely , I will be able to do the run. 
 This afternoon, i got out for a bike ride to LeMoyne Point. Hoping my training will improve. 
 I ran an abbreviated run along the trails and biked home. .

Hot and Humid Friday August 21

 Busy day. got my run done in the very late afternoon.
Distance: 7.49km
Still having problems with my Garmin. Think I need to buy a new  watch. I will give it another go tomorrow. Used Map My Run to get the distance.  
Happy with the distance. 
Hoping I will have a more interesting post tomorrow.

Very high humidity 94%.  
Late afternoon, I ran a route along the lakefront path and back along Union Street.
Stats:      Distance: 7.48 km       Time:  44:10

Pleased with my effort. I think I have lost my bike lock. I have a backup  -  thank goodness.

Great day. Sunny and Hot. 30C. I think the month of  August is the best weather we have. 
Late afternoon. 17:00 hours. 
Ran along the waterfront path. 
Distance  7:48 km
Time: 44:10
Pace: 5:54

Probably my best training run in some time. It is flat and that helps, on the flip side I ran well.

Ran in the late afternoon. hot and muggy.
 Ran tired as I did a large laundry in the afternoon. 5 Loads. 
 Trying hard to get into a running routine. 
  Feel lucky about.
 Heavy rainfall started just  as I got home.

Monday - August 10

Muggy humid day 24C.
Having issues with my Garmin. Is it the Watch?  Or  me -  the owner?
 Used  Map My Run to log  the distance.

 Happy with my distance as I have taken a "time out"  for most of the past 10 days.
 I am in the process or charging the battery and hoping it will okay  for tomorrow.

Check back in a day or 2 and I will have my late summer/ fall event schedule  in place.

Sunday August 09

Over the past month, my running has dropped off.  Need to firm up my goals and plans.
Its time to be more disciplined and do my running and cycling and "other" on track. 

Yesterday. I rode to LeMoyne Point and did a run. 
I have been using Garmin to record my runs. It is a pain. Not very efficient and takes a long time to upload stuff. 
Run: 5:30 km     Time: 38:24     Pace:  7:16 

A week or so ago, I bought 2 new CDs.
